Summit Leaders USA: Engaging America’s Leaders at the State Level and Beyond
The Summit Leaders USA initiative gathers America’s elected officials, academicians, business and media leaders to address the nation’s major challenges including healthcare reform, immigration reform, the 21st century’s technology impact on the work force, economic reforms vital for fueling higher rates of economic growth and national defense.
The events held in partnership with local stakeholders and joined by state and federal leaders, focuses on advancing principled solutions engaging America’s emerging communities including the influential Asian American, European diaspora and Latino communities. Today, over 100,000 Indian American physicians serve patients across the country, fueling the free enterprise system, contributing to cutting-edge research and offering solutions to the healthcare arena.
The International Leaders Summit appreciates the important contribution of its key executive advisory leadership members advancing the think tank’s mission including Sampat S. Shivangi, MD, chairman, Mississippi State Department of Mental Health and chairman, Legislative Committee, American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin (AAPI); Shanti Gandhi, MD, former state representative of the Kansas State Legislature and cardiovascular and thoracic surgeon (Retired), and Beth Saunders, president, Sanford Saunders Enterprises LLC.
