America’s Roundtable: Fmr. Rep. Dave Brat — Economic Impact of Covid-19, Reopening the American Economy and China’s Culpability
Former Congressman David Brat (R-VA) joins America’s Roundtable — Radio and Podcast with co-hosts Natasha Srdoc and Joel Anand Samy, co-founders of International Leaders Summit, to discuss the impact on lives and significant economic damage caused by the spread of coronavirus which originated in Wuhan, Hubei province, China.
Dr. David Brat discusses the steps that state governors and legislators should consider in reopening the economy. He also brings to the forefront China’s culpability in the global spread of Covid-19 costing countless human lives, causing significant economic damage and adversely affecting the working poor and individuals in poverty.
China’s delayed response and the ensuing published reports reveal the Chinese Communist Party’s cover-up which cost countries around the world valuable time in understanding how the virus was transmitted and to better prepare for the pandemic. Dr. David Brat served in the United States Congress for the Commonwealth of Virginia’s 7th District from 2014-2019. He currently serves as the Dean of the Liberty University School of Business.
His wealth of knowledge comes from years of experience in the industry, as an economic consultant and more than 20 years of work in higher education. He also serves as the president of the Virginia Association of Economists, a member of the Virginia Board of Accountancy and executive advisory board member of the International Leaders Summit. At the Second Jerusalem Leaders Summit, then-Congressman David Brat delivered a keynote address in Israel, met with Israeli elected officials, and visited the nation’s sacred and historic sites, including key locations within Judea and Samaria.
