In light of the challenges impacting America and the world including the erosion of the rule of law, transparency and freedom, the International Leaders Summit's strategic event in partnership with AT&T on Wednesday, July 26, 2017, will examine key issues vital to strengthening the rule of law, the protection of free speech, individual liberty and private property.

In free societies around the world, the foundational rule of law protects life, individual freedom, free speech and property rights. Individual citizens and institutions are subject to and accountable to the rule law that is fairly applied and enforced; the principle of governance by law. The rule of law is a prerequisite for a well functioning market economy, necessary for individuals, companies, societies and economies to prosper.

“Public sector corruption siphons $1.5 trillion to $2 trillion annually from the global economy in bribes and costs far more in stunted economic growth, lost tax revenues and sustained poverty, the International Monetary Fund said on Wednesday.”  ? Reuters

Through US leadership, primarily the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) and the Justice Department’s Kleptocracy Initiative, political corruption and transnational organized crime are being addressed worldwide.

In order to effectively address these issues, there is an urgency to create an engaged network of principled leaders worldwide in order to strengthen the rule of law, advance transparency and address the growing problem of transnational organized crime.
