“Only a few people around Prince Michael of Liechtenstein, a nephew of the reigning Prince Hans-Adam were familiar with the case. Shortly before the sale of the Wörthersee Bank (referring to Hypo Bank op.ed.) to BayernLB then-chief of Hypo, Tilo Berlin, had sold 51 percent of the AAP to a Liechtenstein holding of the Prince. Thus, snoopers were denied any access to the books of the Bank.
